USTA Membership
All players must be current USTA members, through the season end date, in order to register for a USTA League team.

USTA Membership Profile
All players, and especially captains, should check to be sure that the contact information on their USTA Membership Profile is correct. Phone and email information will be used for communications regarding league play.

During the season, captains will have access to phone and email information in TennisLink for ease of initiating communications with opposing team captains. Captains only have access to contact information for other captains in their flights/divisions; and for privacy reasons, may only use that information for communicating about arrangements pertaining to scheduled matches.

Create a Team on TennisLink

  • Captains are required to use the following naming convention when creating a team on TennisLink:
    • First initial of first name combined with last name, combined with facility name
    • Example: John Doe with Jeff Adams as home courts; Team Name is JDoe (Jeff Adams)
  • If the team will be playing out of private facility, be sure to choose the “Private Teams” flight option; and if playing out of a public park facility, choose the “Public Teams” flight option.
  • Selecting a public park facility as home courts is based on availability at the time teams are created on TennisLink. View public court availability. Captains may need to select an alternate location if a facility is at team capacity.
  • When registering for the team, be sure to opt in to receive communications from the Local League Coordinator pertaining to the League.

Register for a Team on TennisLink

  • Once captains create a team online, they will provide teammates with their team number.
  • To register for a team, players will need their team number, USTA number, and a credit card for payment.
  • If players do not have an NTRP Rating, they will be asked to self-rate by answering a series of questions. If players are not satisfied with their rating, they may appeal at that time.
  • Be sure to opt in to receive communications from the Local League Coordinator pertaining to the League.
  • Players registering for a public park team after the team registration deadline:
    • Through the January 31, 2024 team registration deadline, all players will use the team number assigned to captains at the time they created their team in TennisLink.
    • After the January 31, 2024 deadline, players on private facility teams will continue to register using the team number assigned to their captains, however, players on public park teams will need to register using the following Public Park Late Registration team number:
      • 18 & Over;
      • 40 & Over;
      • 55 & Over;
