USTA League Refund Policy

USTA Leagues with Local Play

In accordance with USTA North Carolina policies, refund requests for Local Fees,  State Head Tax charges, and public court fee (if applicable), must be made to the Local League Coordinator prior to the team’s first scheduled match. Requests must be made in writing. The TennisLink fee is non-refundable. The Local League Coordinator will hold all requests and submit one list to the State League Coordinator by the refund deadline. One check will be sent to the Charlotte Tennis Association, who will issue individual checks to the players. USTA League refunds will be processed and sent via Wells Fargo Bill Pay. Checks not cashed within 90 days of being issued, are voided by the bank and will not be reissued. Any team dropping out of a league after Initial Roster Deadline for that league will forfeit any registration fees paid and a grievance may be filed.

To the extent the USTA League is cancelled for any reason, the Charlotte Tennis Association Board of Directors will make a determination around providing a partial refund. As a reminder, $3.15/$3.44 of the registration fee is an unrecoverable fee to TennisLink and $6.00 of the registration fee is paid to USTA North Carolina and is governed by their policies. The balance of the $16.00 registration fee is received and governed by the Charlotte Tennis Association to cover costs to administer and host the league.
