Get your kids involved in USTA Junior Team Tennis today – just for the fun of it!

If your kids love tennis, they will love it even more as part of a team!

USTA Junior Team Tennis provides singles and doubles play opportunities as part of a team. Best of all, USTA Junior Team Tennis is for children of all ages, including those 10 and under, where programs utilize the 10 and Under Tennis format with smaller courts, shorter and lighter racquets, and lower-bouncing and slower-moving balls.

USTA Junior Team Tennis is 7 to 9 week program of match play for youth ages 6-18. Teams comprised of boys and girls of similar age and ability, compete against other teams in the Greater Charlotte area in one of several divisions. Players are divided by the following age and skill levels:

• Age Categories: 8&U, 10&U, 12&U, 14&U and 18&U

• Play Levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

Being a part of Junior Team Tennis requires USTA membership, which is free for junior players.

Kids enjoy team competition close to home, however, top finishing teams in the spring season may advance to compete at a fun event, including teams from across the state.
