Executive Director Honored at USTA Southern Annual Meeting

Carla O’Connor received the 2023 Jacobs Bowl during the Hall of Fame dinner at the USTA Southern Annual Meeting. The highest award presented by the USTA Southern Section; the Jacobs Bowl honors a volunteer who has exhibited outstanding service to USTA Southern. Carla has served as a volunteer for the USTA for over 24 years, in a variety of appointments at the State, Sectional and National levels. Carla is the Executive Director for the Charlotte Tennis Association. She began working with the Charlotte Tennis Association 26 years ago as the Junior Team Tennis Coordinator and became the Executive Director in 2003.
