Charlotte USTA League Teams Shine at National Championship

Congratulations are in order for our talented 18 & Over 5.0 men’s, 40 & Over 3.0 women’s and 65 & Over 4.0 women’s tennis teams, who delivered outstanding performances at this year’s National Championships! The men’s team, captained by Yev Slesarev, showcased remarkable determination and skill, capturing 2nd place after a thrilling 2-1 showdown against the Intermountain team. Meanwhile, the 3.0 women’s team, captained by Amy Reynolds and Heather Griffith, also displayed exceptional skill, securing 6th place out of a competitive field of 17 teams. Debbie Carmazzi’s 65 & Over 4.0 team had an impressive 4th place finish out of 15 teams.

All teams’ achievements highlight their dedication and teamwork, and they’ve brought immense pride to our community with their performances on the national stage. Well done, teams!
