Charlotte Teams Compete at 65 & Over State Championships

The Charlotte Metro area was proudly represented at the USTA 65 & Over State Championships held this past weekend in Greenville/Snow Hill, with four teams competing against top teams from across North Carolina.

A special congratulations to Giles Beal’s 65 & Over 3.5 team from Gaston Country Club for an outstanding performance, finishing first in a highly competitive pool of nine teams to capture the state title. The team will now advance to represent North Carolina at the USTA Southern Sectional Invitational, taking place November 13–15 in Memphis, TN.
