Ace The Stigma Memorial Tennis Tournament

The Charlotte Tennis Association is pleased to support Ace The Stigma, and their tournament being held in May honoring Chuck Reiney. The timing of this event coincides with Mental Health Awareness Month and Tennis Month.

Chuck was a beloved member of our tennis community. He served on the Board of Olde Providence Racquet Club, including as President; and was a sought-after player in the Charlotte Pro League team draft.  Chuck’s family and friends started this new non profit organization, Ace The Stigma, to help fund suicide prevention and mental health programs in the Charlotte area.

In addition to the tournament, the event includes a suicide prevention seminar, parties and a silent auction.
