The 18th season of the Charlotte Pro League, included 162 players, with mostly 5.0 and above ratings, participating on 14 teams. As was the case every Thursday night during the Pro League season, the best tennis in North Carolina was on display during the culminating Championship matches.

In the Men’s division, Congratulations to Rookie Captain Stephen Woodall on bringing home the championship with a 4-0 sweep over Team Haywood. All 4 matches were tightly contested, with Team Haywood winning the first set on all 4 courts. However, in the end, Team Woodall proved to be too strong taking all 4 lines in third set breakers for a clean sweep.

In the Women’s division, the regular season champions and second place team played their way into the finals. After splitting the two lines, a Tiebreaker was needed to decide the champion. After a back and forth battle, Team Braude came away with the victory, and the 2022 Pro League Championship.
